We had been waiting to see what the response was, and now we know.
Jeremiyah Love is dealing with a high ankle sprain after his 14 touch first half in the preseason win for the Arizona Cardinals over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love is dealing with a high ankle sprain, per sources. It makes it unlikely that Love plays again this preseason, with the team hoping he can return for the Sept. 13 regular-season opener vs the Chargers. pic.twitter.com/H0vb0R7x4k

Love was ‘s final touch of the game was also the play where he was injured, and many in the non-Cardinals media world wondered aloud if it was bad.
Jeremiyah Love – Concern for Left High Ankle sprain on his last touch, which fits the latent soreness presentation & why LaFleur didn’t commit to Week 1 for Love. Sounded like on the mild side, but we’ll have to monitor this one over the next few weeks. https://t.co/HS6DgVySCH pic.twitter.com/15nR226dXN

This is a tough one, and hopefully five weeks between the injury and game one will be more than enough for Love to rehab and get back, but a high ankle sprain is a typical three week injury, and can be a little bit of a pain to come back from.
Let’s hope for the sake of fans this is nothing lingering, and by September 13th, Love is back to feeling and moving at 100%.
I don’t care about fantasy impact (no offense to those who do) but Jeff is a good place to get information on this stuff, and I just kind of ignore the fantasy impact of things.
Jeremiyah Love High ankle sprain confirmed. Avg time missed ~3 weeks for RBs w/ close to a 25% production dip upon return (less negative impact for RBs w/ high receiving upside though). NOT avoiding Love but I won’t be betting on him in Weeks 1-3 or so. Keep drafting him. https://t.co/4aBb3RRONV
