Editorial Standards
AIPROPX is not a publisher. We are a deterministic index: a system that reads public news feeds, computes text overlap between reports, and groups them into canonical entries. The six commitments below describe what we do — and equally, what we deliberately do not do. Each is stated as an auditable rule, not an aspiration.

DC-1 — Deterministic by algorithm, not editorial decision
Every figure on AIPROPX is the output of a deterministic algorithm: outlet counts, report counts, publication timestamps, and text-overlap scores. No human editorial process selects, weights, or re-orders any result. The same feed input always produces the same output.
DC-2 — Nothing rated, nothing labelled
AIPROPX never labels a claim, outlet, or report as accurate, biased, politically leaning, credible, or trustworthy. When we show that a sentence appears across multiple reports, that is a count of text matches — not a verdict on its truthfulness. No rating system exists anywhere in the codebase.
DC-3 — Radical transparency about method
Our clustering algorithm, scoring formulae, and data sources are documented. Readers can verify every number independently by clicking any story cluster and opening the source articles directly. Methodology revisions are published with version notes in this document's version history.
DC-4 — Region means outlet headquarters only
When a report carries a region label, that reflects only where the publishing outlet's headquarters is registered. It is never an inference about where an event occurred, who it concerns, the nationality of the subject, or the political stance of the coverage. Region is a metadata field, not an editorial judgement.
DC-5 — We index and resolve; we never republish
AIPROPX clusters links to original reporting into one canonical entry per event. Every source is named and linked at origin. Opening a report sends the reader to the original publisher; AIPROPX holds no copy of their article text. Paraphrasing, summarising, or repurposing publisher content for display purposes is prohibited.
DC-6 — Corrections are public and dated
When an indexing error is confirmed, it is corrected immediately and a dated correction note is appended to the affected entry. Records are never silently amended. The original error text is preserved in the correction note. A public log of all confirmed corrections is maintained on the Corrections page.
Independence statement
This is a one-person operation. That is a fact about the structure, not a boast.
AIPROPX is built and run by a single person. There is no newsroom, no editorial staff, no committee, and no investor board with content preferences. That structure is the strongest possible guarantee against institutional editorial drift: there is no institution.
Advertising relationships have zero influence over what is indexed, how stories are grouped, or which sources appear in a canonical entry. Advertisers cannot request the addition, removal, or re-ordering of any indexed content. Sponsored content is clearly labelled and physically separate from the editorial ledger.
One person making all decisions means slower response times and no 24/7 coverage. It also means no coordination failure, no conflicting agendas, and no editorial policy that quietly shifts when staff changes. Deterministic by necessity, and by design.
