Gloucester County Sports Hall of Fame reveals its Class of 2026
The Gloucester County Sports Hall of Fame will induct 14 new members during a ceremony on Oct. 27, 2026 at Adelphia’s Restaurant in Deptford.
Former Paulsboro High and NFL star Gerald Hodges and University of Pennsylvania baseball coach and Gloucester Catholic grad John Yurkow along with Kingsway athletic director June Cioffi are among the inductees.
Other members in the Class of 2026 are Brooke Minor (Kingsway), Pat Pfizemayer (Washington Twp,), Kevin Nolan (Gloucester Catholic, Deptford), Tim Matchett (Pitman). Victor “Chug” Mangeney (Glassboro), Frank Consiglio (Washington Twp.), Julie Undercuffler Cundey (Clearview, Rowan University), Thom Hurst (Woodbury), Nina Camaioni (Williamstown), Megan Kirschling (West Deptford), and Jimmer Bundy (Woodbury),
In addition, the Hall of Fame will honor the 2011-12 NJCAA national champion Rowan College Softball teams along with the 1998 Clearview Regional High Group 3 state champion softball team.

The Class of 2026 Hall of Fame Inductees
Gerald Hodges
A 2009 Paulsboro graduate, Hodges played collegiate football at Penn State and later played six seasons at linebacker in the NFL with teams including the Vikings and 49ers. At PHS, he earned All-State honors in football while in wrestling he posted an 85-7 career record while winning a Region 8 title.
John Yurkow
A former star player at Gloucester Catholic and Rowan University, Yurkow is currently serving as head coach of the Penn Quakers baseball program. Raised in Washington Township and a former assistant coach at Rowan University and Duke, Yurkow has guided Penn teams to 227 career wins since 2014 and was named Ivy League Coach of the Year in 2023.
June Cioffi
A former Glassboro High standout three-sport athlete, Cioffi later starred at Rowan University in field hockey. She is Kingsway High's athletic director and previously served as AD at Timber Creek and Woodstown. She is a member of the Glassboro High Hall of Fame and was Olympic Conference AD of the Year in 2010andTri County Conference AD of the Year in 2016 ,
Brooke Minor
A 2001 Kingsway grad, Minor was a state champion in the high jump and who was a two-time All-State and three-time All-South Jersey track performer. She also was a two-time all-conference performer in basketball. At Princeton University, she emerged as an All-Ivy League performer, excelling in several events, including the high jump.
Pat Pfizenmayer
A former Washington Township star athlete, Pfizenmayer was the leading scorer on the Minutemen's unbeaten 1970 football team. He also was a Group 2 state mile relay champion and a three-year basketball standout at WTHS. He later played football and track at Glassboro State prior to his passing in May 1974.
Kevin Nolan
A former boys and girls swimming head coach at Gloucester Catholic, Nolan enjoyed a 35-year coaching career, compiling more than 400 career wins and winning New Jersey Coach of the Year honors in 2017-18. A long-time Deptford High teacher, he was recently inducted into the GCHS Hall of Fame.
Jimmer Bundy
A Woodbury high school star, Bundy went on to play college fullback as a bruising, powerful runner for Pitt. Bundy. A 1989 WHS grad, he starred as an all-state player for Woodbury, cementing a long tradition of great Thundering Herd running backs. He joined the Pitt Panthers as a fullback, listed around 5'11" and weighing up to 274 pounds.
Tim Matchett
A Pitman High basketball standout, Matchett averaged 22.2 points per game as a senior while also being selected as Gloucester County Player of the Year and to the All-South Jersey and All-State Basketball teams. A 6-5 forward, he played college ball at Dominican University and Rowan University.
Victor “Chug” Mangeney
A 1969 Glassboro High graduate, Mangeney is the recipient of the John Margie Service Award and is legendary for keeping Glassboro High football stats for local media and coaches for decades. A graduate of Lycoming, Mangeney is a member of the Glassboro High Hall of Fame.
Frank Consiglio
A former Washington Township coach, Consiglio enjoyed success in multiple sports, including volleyball, wrestling and bowling. In 21 seasons, teams that he coached compiled a 353-149 overall record while winning a combined nine South Jersey, Olympic Conference and District titles. He also earned District 30 Wrestling Coach of the Year in 1998 and South Jersey Volleyball Coach of the Year in 2001.
Julie Undercuffler Cundey
A Clearview High hurler who led the program to a Group 3 state title, Undercuffler went on to become a dominant force in the circle at Rowan University. The NJAC Pitcher of the Year in 2001, Undercuffler led the Profs to an NJAC title with a 12-2 record. She also pitched for Bloomsburg University.
Thom Hurst
A celebrated former coach at Woodbury High School, Hurst is known for coaching multiple sports, including baseball, from 1978 to 1990. His legacy as a local sports figure earned him an induction into the "Untouchables" South Jersey Hall of Fame.
Nina Camaioni
A former Williamstown High athlete who led the Braves to a 2006 state championship in volleyball, Camaioni was a three-time All-State player. She played collegiately at Loyola (MD). where she set the school record for digs per match and career kills and earned All-Conference honors twice.
Megan Kirschling
A 2012 West Deptford High track standout who set a Group 2 state record in the high jump with a mark of 5-10 1/2 inches, Kirschling was a two-time Group 2 state champion in the event. She was also a conference and school record holder during her career at Elon University.
