Larry Seneta, most successful coach in District 10 girls basketball history, dies at 84

Larry Seneta, the most successful coach in the history of District 10 girls basketball, has died.

Seneta, whose 713 wins in charge of the Girard YellowJackets was highlighted by their victory in the 1998 PIAA Class 2A final, died Aug. 19 at age 84.

John Tramontano, Girard’s baseball coach, confirmed his father-in-law’s death in a text to the Erie Times-News.
