2-year-old girl dies after suspected Richmond arson, bringing death toll to 3

A 2-year-old girl who was critically injured in a Richmond house fire allegedly set by her uncle has died, police said Thursday.
Suspect Sergio Rivera-Vega was arrested on suspicion of starting the blaze Tuesday night at the home located along the 200 block of 15th Street, according to police. The blaze also left his 47-year-old father and 5-year-old nephew dead and 33-year-old sister in critical condition.
Rivera-Vega lived in the house. Police officials said a motive for the alleged arson is still under investigation.
