The Arizona Cardinals were set to play the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday night in their third preseason game, their only preseason game at home. They did not suit up many starters and even some backups.

Punter injured pregame
In a rare injury announcement, the Cardinals announced that punter Blake Gillikin injured his groin and was questionable to return even before the game began. He is the only punter on the roster, so maybe kicker Chad Ryland will punt, or they will go for it every fourth down.
