California rockers Buckcherry got into a deadly crash in South Carolina while they were traveling on their tour bus to their next gig, according to the band.
Buckcherry posted the bad news on Instagram Stories, writing that their bus was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on I-26 in Spartanburg County, SC, around 2 AM Friday.
They said they were "extremely grateful to report that all members of Buckcherry and our touring crew are safe and unharmed.\u201d
But the group also revealed that police tragically confirmed "the collision that occurred ahead of our bus resulted in a fatality.\u201d Buckcherry offered their "deepest condolences" to the family who lost their loved one.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation said a motorist stepped out of his vehicle on I-26 East and was struck and killed by a Toyota sedan during the accident, according to media reports.
As you may know, Buckcherry has been traveling around the U.S. on their national "Roar Like Thunder Tour." The band's next concert is scheduled for tonight in Key West, Florida.
