On Saturday, head coach Dan Quinn revealed starting center Nick Allegretti would miss at least another week with a calf injury, and the Commanders signed three veteran offensive linemen for depth.
Later on Saturday, star left tackle Laremy Tunsil left practice with some type of arm injury . Many initially speculated it was a stinger, which would have been a positive diagnosis, considering the recovery time. Unfortunately, Washington received the worst possible prognosis later on Saturday; Tunsil suffered a torn pec . He will miss most of the upcoming season, if not all. It was a brutal blow for the Commanders and quarterback Jayden Daniels.
