Indiana Fever star Aliyah Boston discussed Caitlin Clark laughing after Angel Reese’s missed game-winner for the Sky in an earlier matchup this season.
The Fever picked up a 95-91 win over the Atlanta Dream in mid-August in a tremendous clash between the two playoff-caliber teams.
The Fever completed a double-digit comeback to win in OT, primarily because Reese missed a tip-in at the end of regulation, prompting Clark to laugh at her, with the moment being captured on camera.

Fever big Boston discussed the moment between Clark and Reese on her ‘Post Moves’ podcast with Candace Parker, clearly finding the situation funny and joking about the never-ending Clark-Reese rivalry.
“We saw it after, but in real-time, you see nothing. We saw it after. Like peace, love, and happiness, we will never be free.”
That OT game ended with Boston as arguably the key reason for the comeback, ending the game with 18 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, five steals, and three blocks to lead the team in plus/minus (+13).
Reese had a good game but had an especially tough scoring night against the Boston-Timpson frontcourt, scoring 15 points on 5-of-16 shooting with 14 rebounds and six assists.
Clark’s moment of laughter went viral after the game, especially given the circumstances of the Dream blowing the lead and Reese’s putback miss eventually costing them the game.
Clark’s confidence came through in her performance, leading all Fever scorers with 26 points and nine assists.
Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark’s rivalry could get a playoff stage
Despite it looking like the Fever would shoot past their rivals and finish with a top-three seed, a few rough losses have brought them back to the middle of the pack.

The 25-14 Fever are currently the No. 5 seed while the 25-13 Dream are the No. 4 seed, putting Clark and Reese in each other’s paths as potential first-round playoff opponents.
All the teams between seeds seven and three are closely matched, so anything can happen over the final three games of the regular season.
A playoff matchup between Clark and Reese would be their first postseason matchup since the 2024 NCAA Women’s National Championship Final Four meeting where Reese’s LSU beat Clark’s Hawkeyes.
