Defending champ Aldrich Potgieter (76) struggled in his first round, while Peter Malnati shot a career-best 61 to open his tournament in what will be the event’s final year under the Rocket sponsorship .
Malnati leads a competitive field that features Cameron Young, Xander Schauffele and Wyndham Clark . Ryan Gerard and Rickie Fowler sit two shots off the lead entering Round 2.
Golf Channel and Golf Channel mobile will provide TV and streaming coverage of the second round runs 3-6 p.m. ET with Golf Central Postgame set to begin at 9 p.m. (note: streaming links will be provided here once available).
