See the full story · 1 sourcesAngel Reese played in the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday. It marked her third All-Star selection in as many years, as she received the distinction every year of her professional career. The former LSU women's basketball star didn't see too many minutes, though.
Reese played on Team Coop, the team assembled by Cynthia Cooper. She and Teresa Weatherspoon served as the WNBA legends who drafted the players from a pool voted on by fans, current players and media. Reese played alongside Breanna Stewart, Kelsey Mitchell and Paige Bueckers. They played against Team Spoon, which was led by Caitlin Clark, Olivia Miles and A'Ja Wilson.
Playing nine minutes off the bench, Reese went scoreless but pulled down five defensive rebounds and dished out four assists. She provided the assist to Dominique Malonga on her dunk.

— WNBA (@WNBA) July 26, 2026 An offseason trade sent Reese from the Chicago Sky, the team that drafted her, to the Atlanta Dream. Prior to her injury, Reese led the WNBA with 11.5 rebounds per game. She's also averaging a career-best 15.4 points per game and ranks second in the league with 17 double-doubles.
