Oliver Kapanen took a big step forward with his development last season with the Montreal Canadiens. In 82 games last season with the Original Six club, he posted 22 goals, 15 assists, and 37 points

When noting that this was Kapanen's first full NHL season, there is no question that he had a solid year for the Habs. Yet, it would not be surprising if he ends up having an even better year for Montreal in 2026-27.
