Jackson Koivun , who picked up his first PGA Tour victory last week, shot 1 under in Round 1 at his fourth professional start. Making the cut would go a long way toward locking in a spot in the FedEx Cup playoffs, as the 21-year-old rookie came into Detroit Golf Club five spots out of the top 70.

What is the Rocket Classic cut line?
As of 10:45 a.m. Friday, the cut line at the 2026 Rocket Classic was 2 under par. Players with a score of 2 under or better would qualify for the weekend's rounds if the projected cut line holds. Projections from DataGolf estimate the final cut line will be 3 under.

Of the 147 players who entered the tournament, 65 are guaranteed to make the cut and play this weekend. That number can grow to account for ties. Last year, a whopping 86 players made the cut at 6 under.
