High hopes have been placed on the Los Angeles Rams for the 2026 NFL season. Coach Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford clearly want to go on a Super Bowl run before the sun sets on their starting quarterback. However, there might be an early thorn in their way. What might it be? Well, the news came about at a Fanatics party hosted by Michael Rubin, and it was all about Puka Nacua.
Rams' Nacua gets gruesome injury at Fanatics party.
Puka Nacua apparently got injured at the Fanatics 'White Party' hosted by Michael Rubin. The Rams receiver went on the 'Impaulsive' podcast to discuss the matter. Seemingly, he ran into a glass door and got a gruesome cut on his face. Nacua was rushing to find Davante Adams and did not notice the glass pane in front of him.
Thankfully, the people at the Fanatics party and Rubin immediately took care of Nacua. The Rams star could not be more thankful for those individuals who gave him a swift helping hand.
"They made me feel better when they said three other people ran into it. But nobody else ended up bleeding from it. So I don't know if that made me feel much better or worse," Nacua declared.

— IMPAULSIVE (@impaulsive) August 11, 2026 Rams fans and Coach McVay can sigh a breath of relief after this appearance on Logan Paul's podcast. Nacua will not have to be sidelined due to this injury sustained at the Fanatics party. However, they do have to monitor his health for a completely different reason. See, Nacua had to exit early in the Rams' preseason training because he injured his groin. Hopefully, it is not too serious, and the Rams' medical staff can fix his issues as soon as possible.
Nacua is the key to the Rams and Matthew Stafford winning a Super Bowl for the 2026 NFL season. He is very likely the best receiver in the league as of the moment. It is strongly supported by the fact that he led the NFL with 107.2 yards per game during their 2025 run. More importantly, he currently holds the record for yards per game with his 95.3 Y/G throughout his three seasons with the Rams.
For Coach McVay and Stafford, not having Nacua in the Rams' offense would mean losing a high-volume weapon who comes only once in a generation. Hopefully, the cut on his face does not become a lingering problem in the long run, and his groin injury need not be a concern throughout their 17-game NFL regular season campaign.
