Gomez reaches the Hot Tropical Songs chart for the first time with “Te Olvido (La La),” her collaboration with Blanco and Latin superstar Becky G. The track opens at No. 3 this frame on the ranking that focuses on the most popular tunes classified by Billboard as tropical Latin music. That broad field includes styles like salsa, bachata and merengue, among others.
The trio is blocked by one of the biggest Latin hits in the United States, as well as another debut. “Te Olvido (La La)” only misses the top 10 on one of the three Latin rankings where it debuts. Gomez’s only other charting track on any Billboard -sanctioned tally this week is “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” her collaboration with Charlie Puth. The years-old pop smash returns to the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. at No. 186. “We Don’t Talk Anymore” earns its milestone thirtieth week on the worldwide ranking, which excludes all forms of consumption originating from the United States.
