Real Madrid budge on their stance
The report states that Real Madrid have increased their fixed net salary offer from €22 million to €24 million per season.
While that still falls short of the €28 million to €30 million package Vinicius had been seeking earlier in negotiations, it feels like something the Brazilian is ready to work with.

With Vinicius entering the final year of his contract with the Spanish club, the club have been keen to avoid being in a scenario where he leaves for free next summer.
In fact, Los Blancos were ready to sanction a sale for the 26-year-old this summer if they could not reach an agreement on the new contract.
Premier League champions Arsenal are said to be keen to sign him and make him the face of their project under Mikel Arteta.

If the agreement is finalised in the coming days, it would remove one of the biggest uncertainties hanging over Mourinho’s squad and allow the club to focus entirely on completing the remainder of their summer business.
If, however, Vinicius comes back and still refrains from signing a new contract, then Real Madrid have an important decision to make this summer.
After months of this negotiation dragging on, it does feel like this saga is reaching its conclusion, with the 26-year-old winger set to sign a new and improved long-term contract at Real Madrid.
