A few hours later, Clark revealed a new Caitlin 1 colorway on her Instagram Story:
The latest colorway is a mixture of seaform green, darker blue, and muted purple with a golden orange Nike swoosh and CC logo. Clark has previously revealed racer blue, black, neon green, hot pink, yellow, and purple colorways.
The Caitlin 1 "Caitlin Blue" will officially become available on Oct. 1 and is retailed at $140, according to Nike's official website .
"I remember how much joy getting a pair of Nikes gave me as a young kid, and I wanted to be able to replicate that for young kids as well — or even adults, whoever is chasing this shoe or wants this shoe or puts this shoe on," Clark told SLAM in an exclusive behind-the-scenes video from her cover shoot.
"I hope they can kind of feel connected to me," Clark added. "Whether they've met me or came to a game or whether they're just buying the shoe, I hope it's something that they can feel is a part of me, but also now they get to wear it and make it their own in a way, too."
Clark, the 2024 No. 1 overall pick, is in her third WNBA season in Indiana. She's averaging 21.7 points, 8.3 assists, and 3.8 rebounds across 33 games for the 24-13 Fever. She leads the WNBA in assists and ranks third in scoring.
