Every item we feature is a tech gadget the WIRED Reviews team has tested and loved, usually a top pick from our guides, ranging from headphones and speakers to vacuums and chargers. We'll be keeping an eye on the sales leading up to and through the holiday, so don't miss your chance to get something off your tech wish list for a better price with these Labor Day sales.
Need an AirTag to track your keys or luggage (or in my case, my son's backpack when we're on a trip)? Apple's line of Bluetooth trackers can add up if you need to buy a lot, but you can get $5 off a single one right now, or $10 off a four-pack.
Holiday sales like these are a great time to stock up on your everyday items for less, like chargers and other gadgets. This USB-C charger from Anker is our favorite Android wall charger, since it can hit up to 45 watts to quickly top off the majority of Android smartphones.
If you're a Google Pixel user and you need a new case, Dbrand makes one of our favorite cases for Pixel phones—especially if you're in the market for a clear one. Its Pixelsnap-certified magnets are strong, the edges around the camera are slightly raised for extra protection, and it's grippy. There's no plasticky texture, either, which is nice to find on a clear case.
This charging tray from Courant is, simply put, gorgeous. It comes in both leather and linen finishes, and there are two chargers built into it for your phone and your wireless earbuds. The left charger is MagSafe-compatible, while the right side is a Qi charger you can use with either Apple or non-Apple products.
If you want a great stick vacuum that won't cost you several hundred dollars (though they're worth it!), this is our favorite affordable cordless vacuum. The Bissell PowerClean has a low price that's even lower right now, but it still comes with HEPA filtration, can convert to a hand vacuum, has a four-light headlight to spot dirt and debris, and sports a 40-minute runtime.
My personal standout from Dyson's newest vacuum is the V10 Konical. It has the new Dyson vacuum head, the All Floor Cones, and is usually on sale for the same price as the V8 Cyclone. However, the V10 Konical did better in my testing. While the base vacuum isn't on sale right now, the version with the Auto-empty Dok is. That means you can get a great all-around Dyson that's already well-priced, plus a docking station that both empties and charges the vacuum.
Early Speaker and Headphone Deals for Labor Day
The best Bluetooth speaker is the JBL Flip 7, and it's on sale for a little more than $50 off ahead of Labor Day. Buying a portable Bluetooth speaker means you won't get everything you'd look for in a speaker, but the Flip 7 has a good balance between mobility and sound quality. It also packs better water resistance than past Flip models and a two-hour battery (or four with reduced bass).
If you're in the market for a new Sonos speaker, the Move 2 has a nice discount right now with $100 off. It's a large portable speaker that's great for anyone who wants to add more punch to their Bluetooth tunes. The Move 2 has Bluetooth for streaming music on the go, Wi-Fi, and a USB-C port that can double as an analog line-in if you have a separate adapter.
Our favorite wireless earbuds here at WIRED are the Pixel Buds 2a. Our reviewers have loved the balance of sound quality, useful features, comfortable fit, and low price. These headphones are often on sale, and this is one of the many great times of year to snag a pair. The only downside is there's no wireless charging, if that's something you want.
If you're an iPhone user, you can use the Pixel Buds above, but the best headphones for iPhone are obviously the AirPods. Our go-to is the AirPods Pro 3. AirPods sync seamlessly with Apple's smartphones, and the AirPods Pro 3 have foam-lined ear tips to improve comfort and passive noise isolation. You'll also get features like real-time translation, surprisingly accurate heart rate monitoring, up to eight hours of battery life, and an IP57 rating for water resistance.
If you don't want earbuds, our favorite wireless headphones are the Sony WH-1000XM6. Former WIRED reviewer Ryan Waniata said they're an easy choice with seven times the processing power of Sony's previous XM5 model and fantastic noise reduction. You'll also get 30 hours of battery life; multipoint Bluetooth pairing; and a new, smaller case and folding ear cups.
