See the full story · 1 sourcesRookie linebacker Jimmy Rolder was one of two Detroit Lions that exited Friday's training camp practice early to be evaluated for potential injuries . Rolder was being evaluated for a leg injury, while starting defensive tackle Alim McNeill was being evaluated for a potential neck injury.
On Saturday, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that Rolder will indeed "miss some time," but Rolder "didn't suffer a severe injury."
That's some bit of good news to hear that Rolder is not expected to miss major time.

Rolder totaled 118 tackles, nine tackles for loss, two sacks, and one interception throughout his collegiate career with the Michigan Wolverines . The 6-foot-2, 238-pound linebacker led Michigan with 73 tackles last season.
Rolder added seven tackles for loss, two pass breakups, two sacks, and one interception last season at Michigan.
The Lions announced the signing of veteran linebacker Devin White on Saturday. White, who was a second-team All-Pro in 2020 and a Pro Bowler in 2021, is coming off a resurgent 2025 NFL season with the Las Vegas Raiders.
White ranked third in the NFL last season with his career-high 174 tackles.
