An Amber Alert has been issued for one-year-old Emiliona Gonzalez in Missouri after authorities said a suspect stole a vehicle in St. Louis with the baby inside.
The vehicle theft took place in the 800 block of S. Broadway in St. Louis at around 10:40 p.m. on Sunday, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said in the alert.
It was last seen traveling eastbound on Walnut Street from Memorial Drive.
Authorities are searching for Joseph Nickell, 43, who was last seen with Gonzalez.
Nickell is described as a Black man, 6 feet tall, with dark hair and a light mustache. The alert said he was armed with a handgun.
Gonzalez was wearing a gray onesie with black shorts.
The stolen vehicle is a blue 2015-2023 Dodge Charger with two white stripes over the hood. It has an Illinois temporary registration tag and an Illinois license plate, the alert said.
