A busy Tuesday, largely because I have lots of stuff out in my backyard that I need to organize and put back into storage before it rains. And the conundrum is this: If I succeed, I suspect that the rain will not come. If I fail, and all that stuff is still out there, I bet we get torrential downpours. Oh the humanity! Strands is the newest game in the New York Times’ stable of puzzle games. It’s a fun twist on classic word search games. Every day we’re given a new theme and then tasked with uncovering all the words on the grid that fit that theme, including a spangram that spans two sides of the board. One of these words is the spangram which crosses from one side of the grid to another and reveals even more about the day’s theme.
Read on for today’s theme and some hints to help you uncover today’s words.
Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase
Hint : There is an NPR radio show called “All Things Considered” which I’ve enjoyed in the past, but this is not that. These words are more about the act of consideration, plotting, strategizing etc.
I have no idea what any of these words even mean. I’m never BRAINSTORMING or coming up with IDEA after IDEA, CONCEPT after CONCEPT, or rolling my OPINIONs around in my head. I just consume stuff and enjoy it no matter what, without a second thought.
