My dog Bramble is half Australian shepherd and half golden retriever; she seems to jettison about five pounds of floof every time she hops in or out of the car. I had kind of given up on trying to keep my machine interiors clean, but now that this thing is on sale, I’m tempted to give it a shot. The DeWalt and Ryobi vacuums I’ve tried sort of work, but you need something with real extraction power like this Bissell unit if you’re going to tackle real stains.

And speaking of de-dogging your car, I also recommend checking out the Chemical Guys “Grubbie Edge” fur remover and Pet Hair Removal Brush . Both do a great job of gently pulling dog hair out of automotive carpet fibers, which then makes them much easier to vacuum up.
I personally use the Grubbie Edge on every interior clean. It’s great for getting annoying sprigs of Australian shepherd hair out of corners next to seats and consoles.
