Barcelona star Ferran Torres is now fully convinced of bringing a close to his time on the club’s books this summer. This comes amid the understanding that the Spaniard has already informed the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad of his intention to move on.
Frontman Ferran has taken his place centre stage in the media chatter surrounding Barcelona once more this weekend. Ahead of the expiration of his contract terms in 12 months’ time, the 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a potential move to European champions Paris Saint-Germain.
The brass at the Parc des Princes have long opened talks with Ferran’s representatives, with a view to finding an agreement on their own deal with the former Manchester City man.
And if the latest word stemming from France on Saturday is anything to go by, then Luis Enrique and co. now appear to have done enough to convince Ferran of the merits of taking his talents to Ligue 1.
As per a report from French football insider Santi Aouna:
‘Ferran Torres wants to join PSG and has let his inner circle and teammates know that he wants to commit to the club from the capital. Discussions are scheduled for next week between PSG and FC Barcelona in an attempt to reach an agreement.’
