"Our number-one priority is anti-ballistic defence and strategic cooperation with America. Peace needs to be brought closer," Zelensky said in a post on X, adding that he would meet Trump, members of his administration and others who could help bolster Ukraine's defences.
Zelensky also said he would attend a memorial service in Washington for late Republican senator Lindsey Graham, describing him as a steadfast supporter of security and freedom across the transatlantic community.
