Dashcam footage shows Autumn Willette driving through Appleton as ferocious winds and ominous clouds surround her on Monday (27 July).
The motorist, who was on her lunch break at the time, became trapped when two power lines crashed in front and behind her.
“For a while, I thought I was a goner,” she said. “The poles just snapped and came down on both sides of my vehicle.”
She waited in her car for 45 minutes as fierce winds battered her car before electrical engineers arrived to safely remove her.
