Allen elects to carry one less receiver and go with an extra offensive lineman instead. Allen sees Olu Oluwatimi as a lock. Nemhauser has him getting cut. Nemhauser included Mason Richman and cut Christian Haynes. Allen still sees the two as battling for the final spot. Perhaps the biggest difference of opinion lies in George Holani, who Nemhauser cuts and Allen keeps. He has the biggest range of outcomes over the next month, all the way from starting Week 1 to being off the roster entirely.
On defense, there are differences of opinion on Brandon Pili, Mike Morris, Rylie Mills, Patrick O'Connell, Connor O'Toole, D'Anthony Bell, and Andre Fuller. This speaks more to the wealth of capable depth at each position group on defense than any player in particular at this point. This handful of positional battles will clear up further in their first preseason game, set for next week on Saturday, August 15 against the Dallas Cowboys.
