As camps around the NFL get underway, current free agent DeAndre Hopkins has decided to join the Georgia Tech football coaching staff for the upcoming season.
That said, Hopkins stressed on social media that he still is not retired from the NFL.
Why is this of note to the Bengals?
Hopkins had that fun touchdown connection with Joe Burrow during a flag football game this offseason. He also had some nice things to say about Burrow . And he’s stressed he wants to play for a contender , so it was easy to play connect-the-dots.
With the Bengals sporting quality depth at third wideout and beyond on the roster and Hopkins off to the college coaching ranks, though, this fun what if? seems to be expired.
