See the full story · 2 sourcesA former Michigan State basketball great has found a new coaching gig in the high school basketball world. Delvon Roe has been named as the next head basketball coach at South Pasadena High School.
A Lakewood (OH) native, Roe was a standout for the Spartans from 2008-2011, making two Final Four appearances in his time in East Lansing. His career was cut short due to a knee injury, not allowing him to play in his senior year with the program.
After his basketball career, Roe took up acting, after getting a degree in acting from Michigan State. He appeared on various film projects and TV series in the following decade.
Roe has since got into coaching in California, serving as the head coach at both Northridge Academy High School and St. Genevieve High School, before getting this job with South Pasadena.
