VJ Edgecombe, multiple Sixers back in the gym as workouts continue
The NBA calendar has now flipped to August as the 2026-27 season continues to inch closer. Now is the time for players to get their final days of relaxation in and begin getting back in the gym in preparation for the upcoming season with the chase for the Larry O'Brien trophy renewing in 2027.
The Sixers posted on Twitter that VJ Edgecombe is back at the team's facility in Camden, NJ alongside rookie Labaron Philon Jr. in an effort to begin prepping for the new season. Edgecombe will be looking to build off an impressive rookie season while Philon, the No. 22 pick in this draft, will be looking to make himself known and earn a spot in Philadelphia's rotation as a rookie and build off a good summer league showing in Las Vegas.
