Speaking to the media before his team squares off in joint practice against the Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills head coach Joe Brady provided health updates on two key members of the team.
Both Khalil Shakir and Ed Oliver are currently nursing injuries, per Brady:

He did not elaborate further on the severity of each ailment, but it’s a safe bet the veteran receiver and defensive tackle will not be taking part in Buffalo’s joint practice in Berea, Ohio this afternoon or the club’s second preseason game inside Huntington Bank field on Saturday afternoon.
And they shouldn’t.
As for the current state of the Bills receiver group — now Shakir, Keon Coleman, Skyler Bell are all nursing injuries. D.J. Moore got dinged on a reception against the Panthers in the first preseason game.
Big opportunity ahead for the likes of Josh Palmer and deep depth options Mecole Hardman, Stephen Gosnell, Ja’Mori Maclin, Dante Pettis in this upcoming road preseason game and potentially the last exhibition outing next Thursday.
