David Mullarkey finished third in the men's 10,000m to win the Isle of Man's first medal of the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
The Manx athlete secured the bronze in a time of 27:50.28 as he finished behind second-placed Gulveer Singh of India and winner Ky Robinson of Australia.
Mullarkey's bronze is the Isle of Man's first medal success since 2018 on the Gold Coast after they did not make the podium four years ago in Birmingham.
The 26-year-old has another chance for a medal when he competes in the 5,000m on Saturday.
