The only major European giant maintaining tabs on Real Madrid’s contract negotiation dispute with Vinicius Jr. is Arsenal, and the London-based side dream of being the party that benefits from the conflict.
What has become clear in recent days, however, is that both Real Madrid and Vinicius want to continue working together and that it is only the salary involved and the economic terms that leave the two parties at odds.
Given how the situation was developing, the Arsenal management is said to have understood that Vinicius is not a viable target and that he will eventually end up renewing his deal in Madrid.
Back with hope
Now, as reported by Rodra , Arsenal’s owners have got involved in the matter and want to go ‘all-in’ to sign Vinicius this summer. They remain unperturbed by the negotiation talks.

Arsenal have now made direct contact with the player’s agency Roc Nation and have presented their idea of a transfer and making him the leader of their project.
This comes as a massive development as it represents a major step forward by the English side whose interest to date has only been speculative. The direct contacts with Vinicius’ entourage, however, show intent to make it real.
No change in the renewal talks
Earlier this week, it was brought to light that Real Madrid had submitted a new and improved contract with better terms, closer to what Vinicius was demanding.

The Spanish journalist, however, refutes such a development and maintains that there has been no change in the renewal progress with Real Madrid. There has been neither an offer submitted, nor a meeting between the parties.
Everything now depends on Vinicius and what he decides is the best step for his future. For a renewal, both he and the club must arrive at certain compromises, but it appears now that the compromise from his end must be a larger one.
He returns to training on Friday and negotiations over a departure or renewal will speed up after that point. It is now high time the club make a final decision on his future and their final stance on the negotiating front.
