Bournemouth star Eli Junior Kroupi has been touted as a potential Plan B for Barcelona in case a deal for Julian Alvarez cannot be completed this summer.
Barcelona’s top target for the No. 9 position remains Alvarez, but Atletico Madrid do not want to sell the Argentina international.
The rumor mill has therefore claimed that Junior Kroupi could be a potential back-up for Barcelona, with the latest updates suggesting his name is very much on the table.
Yet Barcelona may also face competition from Manchester City for his signature. Fabrizio Romano reports that Enzo Maresca’s side have also asked Bournemouth about the youngster this summer.

Bournemouth don’t want to lose Junior Kroupi but may well have a tough decision to make if big-money offers arrive for the 20-year-old.
The Cherries are thought to want €100 million for their forward who was signed for just €15m from French side Lorient last summer.
