Obviously, the return of star point guard Tyrese Haliburton is one of the biggest storylines surrounding the team. Along with Haliburton's return, the Pacers are going to get their first look at new star center Ivica Zubac in a full-time role with the superstar playmaker on the court.
Indiana also made a solid free agency addition this offseason. Kevin Pritchard and the front office were able to sign Kelly Oubre Jr. to a two-year contract.
Simply looking from the outside in, there are a lot of reasons for Pacers fans to be excited.
That being said, a new reason for excitement may have been leaked. This new form of excitement has to do with a potential new jersey leak.
Polymarket Hoops has shared a post from Sneaker Market RO who has suggested that Indiana may be bringing back the gold pinstripe jersey's from the Reggie Miller era. Fans have been calling for those jersey's to make a return for years.

At this point in the NBA offseason, most analysts are already starting to sleep on Indiana . There have been many predictions that have seen the Pacers ranked as the No. 6 seed or lower in the Eastern Conference.
Some teams and players may get frustrated by being overlooked. Indiana, however, is different. The Pacers have always find a way to thrive in the underdog role.
All of that being said, it is going to be interesting to see what the 2026-27 NBA season has in store for Indiana. With a familiar but new-look roster and potentially some epic new jersey's, the Pacers should get right back to being a threat in the East.
Hopefully, the injury bug stays away from Indiana this season. It's about time that the Pacers get some luck on their side.
