Shakira & Burna Boy’s ‘Dai Dai’ Rolls On at No. 1 on Billboard Global Charts, More Than a Month After the End of the World Cup
Soccer’s signature tournament staged its final match more than a month ago, but Shakira and Burna Boy ’s “Dai Dai (FIFA World Cup Official Song 2026)” scores more time as the biggest song in the world. It leads the Billboard Global 200 chart for a sixth week and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. for a ninth frame.

“Dai Dai,” which first topped the Global 200 in mid-July, drew 40.3 million streams (down 9% week over week) and sold 5,000 (down 18%) worldwide Aug. 14-20, according to Luminate. It holds atop Global Excl. U.S., where it first led at the beginning of July, with 34.4 million streams (down 9%) and 3,000 sold (down 13%) outside the U.S.
Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” rises a spot back to its No. 2 Global 200 high; Tame Impala’s “Loser,” sparked its Spider-Man: Brand New Day sync, lifts 5-3 for a new best; Ariana Grande’s “Hate That I Made You Love Me” drops 2-4 after three nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 starting in June; and Justin Bieber’s “Beauty and a Beat,” featuring Nicki Minaj, ascends 6-5 after two weeks at No. 1 in May.
Elsewhere in the Global Excl. U.S. top five, “Hate That I Made You Love Me” is steady at No. 2, after it spent its first two weeks on the chart at No. 1 in June; “Loser” jumps 6-3 for a new high; “Beauty and a Beat” repeats at No. 4, after two weeks at No. 1 in May; and BTS’ “Swim” keeps at No. 5, after eight weeks at No. 1 since April.
Plus, HUGEL, Imael Angel and Ultra Naté’s “Movin’ to the Sun” sizzles 11-9 on Global Excl. U.S. led by 16 million streams (up 1%) outside the U.S. It’s the first top 10 on the chart for all three acts; notably, Ultra Naté’s history on Billboard ’s charts goes back the furthest, to 1991, when she began a run on Dance Club Songs that includes seven No. 1s, among 20 top 10s.

The Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide data and the Global Excl. U.S. chart comprises data from territories excluding the United States.
Chart ranks are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts’ calculations.

For both tallies, the top 100 titles are available to all readers on Billboard.com, while the complete 200-title rankings are visible on Billboard Pro, Billboard ’s subscription-based service.
