NFL fans are concerned about New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo after watching a preseason training video.
The Giants drafted Skattebo in the fourth round last year, and he made an immediate impact at MetLife Stadium.
The 24-year-old had 410 rushing yards, 207 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in eight games before suffering a broken ankle.
Skattebo then missed the remainder of the 2025 season due to injury and is now preparing for his comeback next month.

Giants RB Cam Skattebo sparks concern among NFL fans
NFL fans seem to believe that Cam Skattebo has lost some athleticism since his injury and will struggle next season.
A viral social media clip showed Skattebo taking an awkward step with his right foot before catching a routine pass in preseason training.
“Ooof. Did you see the way he struggled when he planted his foot? He has not fully rehabbed; his right leg does not have the explosion that he once did. Yikes, I’m concerned for him, and I am a Skat fan,” a fan tweeted.
Another posted: “Is this really the New York Giants starting running back? If so, this is embarrassing.”
“Cut was not smooth. Don’t think I am taking Skat (in fantasy football) this year,” a viewer commented.
“Still funny you guys hyped this guy up like he’s even a top 15 RB,” one said.
Meanwhile, another predicted Skattebo would only have “300 carries, about 647 yards, and 3 touchdowns” next season.
The Giants will hope that those fans were overreacting to a single clip and that Skattebo will return to his former self in the upcoming season.
