Three fighters transported to hospital following violent UFC Vegas 120

Better to be safe than sorry …
Following UFC Vegas 120 last night (Sat., Aug. 8, 2026) inside the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada promotion officials confirmed to MMAmania.com that three fighters were transported to a local hospital for precautionary reasons after sustaining damage in their respective bouts.
The fighters transported were Gigi Canuto , Carol Foro and Billy Goff .
Goff (9-5) was transported to the hospital for precautionary CT scans of his head and face after suffering a brutal third-round stoppage loss at the hands of undefeated prospect Ty Miller , which kicked off the UFC Vegas 120 main card ( watch highlights ).
Unfortunately for Goff, things are trending in the wrong direction.
The 27-year-old is now riding a three-fight losing streak, has been finished in back-to-back fights and could very well be receiving a pink slip in the coming weeks. Goff is now 1-3 inside the Octagon.
Both Brazilian newcomers, Canuto (7-2) and Foro (10-1), were also transported for precautionary CT scans of their respective heads and faces following their hard-fought three-round battle that opened UFC Vegas 120.
Canuto and Foro beat the hell out of each other for 15 minutes, with both women absorbing several heavy shots throughout the contest. Foro ultimately won a unanimous decision in what turned out to be a wildly entertaining debut for both Strawweight prospects.
Canuto had her three-fight winning streak snapped, a run in which she finished all three of her opponents. She was also a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 34, entering the show as one of the favorites to win the whole thing. Canuto went 1-1 in the TUF house, knocking out her first opponent in just 25 seconds ( watch highlights ) before losing in the semifinals.
Meanwhile, Foro is now riding an eight-fight win streak and has already made herself known as a very exciting prospect in the Strawweight division. The former Jungle Fight champion owns a 77 percent finish rate, with six knockouts and one submission.
At this time, the results of the fighters’ scans have not been disclosed.
I t is normal for UFC to transport fighters to the hospital for precautionary reasons, especially after damaging three-round fights or brutal stoppages.
