Fresh off taking the basketball world by storm, Caitlin Clark is aiming even higher for her signature Nike sneaker drop .
Caitlin Clark’s love for Taylor Swift is well-documented, with the Indiana Fever star openly embracing her status as a massive “Swiftie,” attending Eras Tour shows, and swapping social media shoutouts.
That crossover energy extended straight into Clark’s debut signature shoe rollout, where rap superstar Travis Scott was spotted trying on a stealthy, all-black pair.
Set to drop on October 1, 2026, the Nike Caitlin 1 is generating massive hype, and Clark already has her sights set on Swift as the dream figure to rock her custom colorways.
Caitlin Clark wants Taylor Swift to wear her new shoes
In an interview with SLAM ahead of her new shoe launch, Caitlin Clark was asked all kinds of questions about her past and the making of her signature collection.
However, one of her biggest aspirations with the collection is to try and get her idol, Taylor Swift , to wear her new sneakers after Travis Kelce tried them on.
SLAM: “You mentioned on the Kelce brothers’ podcast that you want to see Andy Reid rocking a pair of Kansas City Caitlin 1s. Who else would you want to see rock your signature or have their own colorway? “
CC: “Well, Travis Scott tried on the all-black pair. Obviously, we saw that in my Instagram post. I wouldn’t mind seeing Taylor Swift in a couple versions that I think she would probably like. Other than that, I honestly think it’s really cool just seeing other WNBA players or other NBA players wear your shoe. I think that’s really special. So, I’ll definitely be trying to get as many college hoopers, NBA hoopers, WNBA hoopers.”
The mutual respect runs deep. Swift personally gifted Clark merchandise and a note calling her inspiring, so perhaps the Indiana Fever star can return the favour with her shoes.
