Denver also placed inside linebacker Jordan Turner on the Active/Non-Football Injury (NFI) list. Turner's injury was not disclosed by the team, and his recovery timeline is currently unknown.
Turner (6-1, 231 pounds) signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State in 2025. He began his rookie season on the practice squad and was elevated to the game-day roster three times before eventually being fully promoted to the active roster. He ended up playing 23 defensive snaps in seven games, totaling seven tackles and one quarterback hit. Turner also played 117 special teams snaps during his rookie season.
Behind starters Alex Singleton and Justin Strnad, the Broncos have a group of linebackers competing for backup spots this summer. Turner faces competition from Karene Reid, Lavelle Bailey, seventh-round pick Red Murdock and undrafted rookie Taurean York . Denver's set to begin training camp practices on July 31.
