He has captained Bangladesh in seven international matches, registering three wins, three defeats and one no-result, gaining valuable experience in the role. In April, the BCB had extended Mehidy Hasan Miraz's tenure as ODI captain through the 2027 World Cup while retaining Litton as T20I skipper. Litton Das, who made his ODI debut in 2015, has established himself as one of Bangladesh's key white-ball batters. His career-best score of 176 remains one of the highest individual ODI scores by a Bangladeshi batter, and he has accumulated 2,869 runs in 104 ODIs with five centuries and 14 fifties.
