This series has been quite demoralizing, but the Nats have a chance to at least salvage something today. They will look to avoid the four game sweep this afternoon. It has been a while since they have been multiple games under .500, and they will look to make that only a one day thing.
With a righty on the mound, there are some changes to the lineup. The outfield will consist of Daylen Lile, Dylan Crews and James Wood. Nasim Nunez will be back at second base, while Jorbit Vivas returns to third. Jose Tena is back in the lineup as the DH. Crews is the only true righty in the lineup. Cade Cavalli is on the mound, and will look to be the stopper.

The Braves are only adding one player to the lineup. Mauricio Dubon will be in left field after getting the day off yesterday. Ronald Acuna Jr. will move to DH and Dom Smith will be out of the lineup as a result. With Reynaldo Lopez’s injury moving Martin Perez’s start up, JR Ritchie will be called up to take the mound today.

This series has not been pretty, but getting this game would make things a lot less ugly. The Nats need positive momentum in the worst possible way. Winning today would be a good place to start. Follow along in the comments down below and let’s go Nats!
