Nottingham Forest wants to beat Arsenal to La Liga star

Marc Casado is set to leave Barcelona, and for much of the summer, he has not been involved in their plans, leading Arsenal to show interest in signing him .

The Gunners believe he would perform well in their team, while Barca are more than happy to sell him during this window if their asking price is met. Casado has also been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in recent weeks, but the midfielder now has another suitor competing with Arsenal for his signature in England.

Fichajes reveals that Nottingham Forest are set to add Casado to their squad from Barca, with the ambitious club prepared to go all out to make the move happen.

Forest see Casado as another important signing who could strengthen their midfield as they bid to finish high up the Premier League table. His arrival would provide another option in the middle of the pitch, while also potentially allowing the midfielder to play regularly.

Casado could be happy to move to England, but choosing Forest over Arsenal would only happen if he is confident that he would receive more playing time at the City Ground than at the Emirates.
