Is J.J. McCarthy losing momentum to earn starting QB role?

After the Minnesota Vikings signed Kyler Murray to a one-year deal this offseason, the initial belief was that he was brought in as camp competition for J.J. McCarthy. However, if you listened to some of the things coming out of Minnesota, Murray was likely viewed as the starter from the jump. While it is early in training camp, this "competition" might already be over.
