Good Morning America and The Today Show both revealed a few key marquee matchups on Tuesday morning. They did not release the entire NBA schedule.
With the NBA having multiple contracts with different companies for television rights, it's important to know which games will air where and who'll play on the marquee parts of the season. Important dates such as Opening Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Martin Luther King Jr. Day are typically when the stars get to play one another in a marquee matchups on national television.
Like expected, the reigning champion New York Knicks have much going on in terms showcase games, as does LeBron and the Sixers. Other stars such as Oklahoma Thunder two-time MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Victor Wembanyama, the start of the NBA finalist San Antonio Spurs , will also spend time on the main stage.
