The Philadelphia 76ers’ final roster spot is coming down to two former LeBron James teammates.
LeBron James signing a two-year, $8 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers has allowed the team to add depth to the roster.
Speaking of which, the 76ers are currently waiting to fill their final roster spot before the new season. Many believe the spot will go to none other than Kevin Love.
However, one former LA Lakers star, who played with James, believes he deserves the spot over the 2016 NBA champion.

Markieff Morris wants to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers
Upon learning that K-Love is being linked to the 76ers as the final player for the team, Markieff Morris quickly explained why he’s more deserving to play for Philly.
“Shiddd if it’s anybody getting that last Vet roster spot it’s gonna be me! Philly raised!!!” Morris wrote on X .
Morris believes his Philadelphia roots make him the perfect fit for the 76ers, which is a strange way to convince the franchise to sign him.
Either way, the 76ers will need to trade or waive a player to sign Morris or Love before the new season begins.
Considering both players have shared the court with James, it will be interesting to see which player the King picks.
