The gunfire erupted shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday at Charles Young Park, according to Lexington police. Video shows the moment terrified people ran for cover as the shots rang out.
One victim died at the hospital and four others were wounded with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The slain victim was identified as 16-year-old Di'Zhon Robertson, the Fayette County Coroner's Office said.
On Sunday, Jametrius Griffin, 18, was arrested on charges including murder in connection with the shooting, police said.
"We're going to do our best to hold those accountable who are involved in this," Lexington Police Chief Lawrence Weathers told reporters.
