Voting is underway for The Courier Journal's boys athlete of the week. The poll closes at 6 p.m. Thursday, and the winner will be announced Friday.

Here are the nominees:
Jamaurion Berry, Trinity football
Senior carried 13 times for 165 yards and scored four touchdowns (three rushing, one receiving) in a 52-21 victory over St. Louis Christian Brothers College on Aug. 28.
Jackson Burke, Christian Academy football
Junior completed 14 of 15 passes for 256 yards and seven touchdowns in a 52-0 victory over Owensboro on Aug. 28.
Kade Goodin, Collins football
Senior completed 29 of 35 passes and set school records with 577 passing yards and seven touchdowns in a 59-54 loss to Spencer County on Aug. 28. Goodin also carried eight times for 50 yards and a touchdown.
A.J. Lee, Bullitt Central football
Senior completed 16 of 21 passes for 212 yards and two touchdowns in a 46-28 victory over Scott on Aug. 28. Also carried 21 times for 194 yards and two touchdowns.
Cayenne Redmon, Oldham County football
Sophomore had six receptions for 193 yards and a touchdown in a 30-12 victory over Shelby County on Aug. 28.
