If you’re trying to predict an NFL team’s end-of-season record, the wrong way to do it is to bring up the schedule and pick results of each game. You simply can’t hope to predict stuff that well, and you’d be better served finding a method that assigns a percent chance of winning each game, adding up those percentages and converting it to a win/loss record. Going game-by-game is silly.
But that’s what I’m doing.
Because of that opening paragraph, what follows isn’t betting advice . It is just a look at the schedule for each NFL team in 2026 and how things might shape up for them this season. Below, check out the 2026 week-by-week results for each NFL team with some thoughts on their outlook.
NFC East below. All odds cited are per DraftKings Sportsbook.
Game-by-Game Results for 2026: NFC East
Dallas Cowboys
2025 record: 7-9-1 Win over/under: 9.5
Week Opponent Result 1 at NYG W The Cowboys’ rebuilt defense should get them going better this year. 2 WAS W The Laremy Tunsil injury looms very large for the Commanders’ chances in 2026. 3 BAL (Brazil) W Wins in Weeks 1-2 wouldn’t come as a big surprise, but the headlines start with a Baltimore win in Week 3. 4 at HOU L The elite Houston defense is enough to knock the Cowboys from the unbeatens. 5 TB L The headlines started when they got to 3-0. They stop when they fall to 3-2. 6 at GB W Dallas played the Packers to a tie last year. They do a little better this time. 7 at PHI W Here’s where it gets interesting. Dallas takes Philly in an NFC East showdown. 8 ARI L In true Cowboy fashion, after everyone gets hyped by the Eagles win, they fall to one of the league’s worst teams. 9 at IND W Dallas should have little trouble scoring on Indianapolis. Sauce Gardner can only guard one of their receivers. 10 SF W The way the 49ers are going, they might be fully healthy by this point or down to like three players. Who knows. 11 TEN W The Cowboys roll over a struggling Titans team. 12 PHI L After beating the Eagles on the road, Dallas lets their fans down by losing at home. 13 at SEA W Dallas beats the Seahawks to head into their bye at 9-4. 14 BYE 15 at LAR L The good tidings from the Seattle win don’t carry over to after the bye. 16 JAC W The Cowboys can’t afford to lose much down the stretch, so they get started by beating the Jags. 17 NYG W The season opens with the Giants and Commanders and ends the same way. The results are the same. 18 at WAS W Dallas pulls into a tie for the division title with a Week 18 win.
New York Giants
2025 record: 4-13 Win over/under: 6.5
Week Opponent Result 1 DAL L Year 2 of Jaxson Dart starts disappointingly with a loss to Dallas. 2 at LAR L The Giants fall to 0-2, although it’s a tough opening slate. 3 TEN W New York gets a W by beating a subpar Titans team. 4 ARI W And we’re back to .500, thanks to the struggling Cardinals 5 at WAS L Just when the Giants start looking good, they remind us they are, after all, the Giants. 6 NO W Around here is where people start wondering how real the 2026 Giants are. 7 at HOU L The Giants are quasi-real, but they are no match for the Texans defense. 8 BYE 9 at PHI L Remember when the Giants beat the Eagles 34-17 in Week 6 last year? It sparked a lot of stories. No such luck this time. 10 WAS W Giants and Commanders split yet again. 11 JAC L The difficulty in this project is, when you have players as prone to injury as Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo, you think they’ll miss games but you don’t know when. It’ll happen eventually, though. 12 at IND L Daniel Jones revenge game. 13 SF W A team as often injured as the 49ers playing in the place where knee ligaments go to die? 14 at SEA L Seattle should have no trouble hosting the Giants. 15 CLE W The Giants are good-not-great, but the Browns are just bad no matter who is at QB. 16 at DET W (Bill Simmons voice) Are the Giants this year’s good bad team? 17 at DAL L The Giants are better this year, but so are the Cowboys. 18 PHI L New York comes into Week 17 at 7-8 with an outside shot at an over-.500 record, but they finish in deflating style.
Philadelphia Eagles
2025 record: 11-6 Win over/under: 10.5
Week Opponent Result 1 WAS W If the Eagles start slow in 2026, there will be massive storylines. Thankfully for them, the schedule is friendly to open. 2 at TEN W We’ll be hearing lots of stories about the disappointing Titans in 2026. 3 at CHI L The Eagles never led against the Bears in a disappointing loss last year, and the same could happen again. 4 LAR L The Rams haven’t beaten the Eagles since 2020 and only once since 2004, but this is the year. 5 JAC (London) W Across the pond, the Eagles get back over .500 by beating Jacksonville. 6 CAR W No bye after London, no problem for the Eagles. 7 DAL L Falling to 4-3 after a home loss to the Cowboys, we’ll get “If the Eagles lose next week, does Nick Sirianni get fired?” stories. 8 at WAS W Sirianni quiets the murmurs for at least a week. 9 NYG W Philly goes into the bye at 6-3. 10 BYE 11 PIT W Intrastate battle goes the Eagles’ way. 12 at DAL W Eagles and Cowboys beat each other on the road. 13 at ARI W It’s the Kevin Kolb bowl! 14 IND W Eagles get their sixth straight win. 15 SEA L All good things must come to an end. 16 HOU W This will be a defensive battle, but the Eagles’ offense is a little better. 17 at SF L I trust Kyle Shanahan to win when he absolutely has to. 18 at NYG W The Eagles enter Week 18 tied with Dallas. They end it that way, too.
Washington Commanders
2025 record: 5-12 Win over/under: 7.5
Week Opponent Result 1 at PHI L The Commanders open with a horrifically tough schedule, and it’ll show. 2 at DAL L 0-2 after two divisional matchups. Tough start. 3 SEA L Finally out of the division, but facing the defending Super Bowl champions. 4 IND (London) L Washington loses a home game by traveling to London. 5 NYG W Finally a win! D.C. breathes a sigh of relief. 6 at SF L The 49ers get to host a tired Washington team traveling across the country. 7 BYE 8 PHI L The bye doe...
