Four people were shot in San Francisco after trying to intervene in an argument between a man and a woman early Saturday morning, the police department said.
San Francisco police said officers responded to the 900 block of Market Street regarding a shooting at approximately 12:51 a.m.
Authorities said officers arrived on scene to find four men with apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported victims to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
The police department reports a preliminary investigation determined that the victims attempted to intervene a verbal altercation between a man and a woman.
The man then pulled out a firearm, shot the four victims and ran away, police said.
The police department said no arrests have been made at this time. They encourage anyone with information is asked to contact the SFPD at 415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 and begin the message with SFPD.
