When you're the champion of the 3M Open, however, the rules can be bent a little for you.
Jackson Koivun, 21, won his first PGA Tour title Sunday , putting together a tournament scoring record of 25 under to win by three shots over world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. The Auburn product was making only his third start as a professional, but it didn't matter, as a 61 on Saturday paved the way for him to hoist the trophy come Sunday afternoon.
And after all the pomp and circumstance of winning, Koivun returned to the lake by the 18th green with a rod and reel in hand to do a little fishing.

As of Monday morning, Koivun remained listed in the field for the 2026 Rocket Classic at Detroit Golf Club. With his victory, he moved to No. 70 in the FedEx Cup standings, the last spot to get in the playoffs. Two weeks remain in the regular season.
